Product Description In the fall of 1992, fiber optic cable was installed at 50 Hunt Street in Watertown and VideoLink was born. The company started by offering ABC, NBC and CBS tape transmission services: When a news crew covered an unfolding story in New England, they went to VideoLink, edited their tape, and transmitted their story to air on the evening news broadcasts. That same year, VideoLink`s third partner, Gina Chudnow, came on board as Director of Operations and soon became the company`s President. Chudnow was instrumental in establishing the company`s unique culture of warmth and professionalism, and she led VideoLink as it grew from a single insert studio to a diversified regional production company. Over the years, we`ve provided transmission and production facilities to cover major events like World Cup Soccer, the Ryder Cup and the Presidential Primaries.
